ST. LOUIS _ To beat writers, ballplayers and bartenders, St. Louis Post-Dispatch baseball scribe Rick Hummel has been an unofficial legend for years.
On Sunday, it's official.
Hummel _ known to many as "Commish" _ will be inducted on Sunday afternoon into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y.
"I'm surprised at how people have reacted, shaking my hand and congratulating me," said Hummel. "I'm very happy that they're all so happy."
