CLINTON - A controversial state plan to build a new boat launch at South Meadow Pond will be re-examined by a consultant to the town's Conservation Commission.
A public hearing held Wednesday night on the proposal, which would restrict the launch to car-top boats only, was continued to Aug. 22.
Yesterday, Gregg Sandberg, a member of the commission, said the consultant, Matt Long, would review the state's plan, because it has been changed slightly from the one presented last year.
