Jul. 29--Southwest Ranches Best known for its horse trails and rural lifestyle, this town wants to find a way to permit an even slower mode of transportation: golf carts.
Many residents in this town of about 7,400 people prefer golf carts to SUVs when they're making short trips to visit neighbors or pick up hay for their horses.
