After years of responding to patrons' inquiries on where they can purchase the decorative items, artwork and furnishings they see at The Brigantine Family of Restaurants' many establishments throughout the county, co-owner Barbara Morton decided to open a retail outlet, Miguelito's--Salsa de Artes y Comer, and sell some of them herself.
In English, salsa de artes y comer means room of art and food, which describes the dual purpose establishment that opened in May adjacent to Miguel's Cocina and the Brigantine in Coronado.
