FDA added many companies to an import alert dealing with low-acid canned food regulations that will put some or all products from these companies on automatic detention according to an announcement from the ASSOCIATION OF FOOD INDUSTRIES, Matan,, NJ. In most cases, the companies were added to the alert because they did not reply to FDA requests to update information. In some cases, the information provided was not adequate or contained flaws.
