DHAKA, Aug 1 Asia Pulse - Biman yesterday officially became a public limited company through signing an agreement with government, making a fresh start under the nomenclature of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.
Communications and Civil Aviation and Tourism Advisor of the caretaker government Maj General (Retd) Abdul Matin, who was present at the agreement-signing ceremony, blamed mismanagement for the national flag carriers present predicament that called for the bailout.
I think governments control is responsible for the present situation of Biman, he said.
