A new public service strike is on the cards - this time at provincial level - as Cosatu accuses the Western Cape provincial administration of refusing to resolve post-strike difficulties.
Cosatu's provincial chairman, Monroe Mkalipi, said the aftermath of the strike had created immense difficulties for workers.
Cosatu's provincial executive would meet next week to decide what action to take to ensure the matter was resolved "peacefully".
