What does your job entail? My job is to make club members feel at home and ensure they have a good time. In addition, as with waiters in other restaurants or hotel dining rooms, we take their orders - drinks and meals - and serve them.
I welcome guests into the dining room, and chat about things that might be of interest to them. The reserve is a gated community, so everyone who works here gets to know all the club members, who are retired people that enjoy an active lifestyle, playing golf and other sports. There are about 750 members, and most of them spend only part of the summer in Florida.
