SAN FRANCISCO -- Having greatly influenced the folk and rock music that defined the 1960s, jug band music is being rediscovered thanks in part to the new documentary, Chasin' Gus' Ghost. The film features live performances by such notable musicians as John Sebastian of the Lovin' Spoonful, and Jim Kweskin, Geoff Muldaur, Bill Keith, Maria Muldaur and the late Fritz Richmond of the influential Jim Kweskin Jug Band.
