Polish meat complies with EU standards of quality - European Commission
BRUSSELS. Aug 1 (Interfax) - The European Commission's position on the Russian ban on imports of meat and agricultural produce from Poland remains unchanged, European Commission spokesman for food safety Philip Tod said answering a question from Interfax.
Tod commented on reports that European Commission experts checked 27 Polish meat and dairy products factories, spotting violations in five of them.
It was a routine check, regularly practiced in EU countries and was the European Union's internal procedure, he said.
Exporter companies are checked more thoroughly. ...
