China's domestic spot corn prices slide in mid-July
Shanghai. August 1. INTERFAX-CHINA - Domestic corn spot prices continued to slide during the third week of July due to the downward trend of the corn futures market, according to a report by the China National Grain and Oil Information Center.
By July 23, the average spot corn price in China was RMB 1,595 ($210.81) per ton, down RMB 6 ($0.79) per ton from the previous week. However, the average price was still RMB 200 ($26.43) higher than the same period last year.
