Article: Ostrich and Mushroom Pie.(Verve)

Francois Kotze from Cape Town was the second of four finalists in the 3 Talk whatsfordinner cooking competition. In a live cook-off last Tuesday Kotze impressed the judges with his delicious Ostrich and Mushroom Pie. Ostrich, a meat with almost zero cholesterol, and combined with the Knorr creamy mushroom sauce topped with phyllo pastry made for a delicious dish. Kotze does most of the cooking for his family and he really hopes to win the big prize, a trip for 2 to the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham later this year. "My wife and I never had a honeymoon so it will be fabulous if I win," he said.
