A new policy allowing for the expansion of Latin Mass if congregants request it makes sense to Catharine Rodriguez, 15.

"It's a good thing," she said. "A lot of people want it, but they can't go to church near their own house because they have Mass in English there."

Unlike many younger Catholics, Catharine knows about the traditional Mass, also known as the Tridentine Mass, because she regularly attends it at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.
