Aug. 1--With school starting, area churches and agencies are hosting events to help those in need with free school supplies, immunizations and other school requirements.
Broken Arrow Neighbors and the Broken Arrow Police Department are teaming up for their first ever Back-to-School Bash, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Broken Arrow Justice Center, 2304 S. First Place.
The event is open to Broken Arrow, Union and Coweta students.
Free school supplies will be available and the Tulsa County Health Department will provide free immunizations; a parent or legal guardian must accompany the child and current shot records ...
