HARARE, Zimbabwe, Jul. 31, 2007 (IPS/GIN) -- Taps in Zimbabwe's capital are running dry, even though the city's main supply dams are more than 60 percent full.

More than half of Harare's 3 million inhabitants are now experiencing water shortages, and residents are resorting to desperate measures to find supplies, even though figures from the Zimbabwe National Water Authority show that the city has plenty of water.
