These letters are in response to "Magna Carta: Taxpayers' bill for displaying this may be more than $900,000. Was it worth it?" (front page, July 26):
Inspirational
I found the exhibit inspirational because it made the connection to the individual liberties first fought for in the Magna Carta - liberties we are fortunate to still have.
I applaud the Virginia Beach City Council and the Contemporary Art Center for this outstanding exhibit. The shame lies in the fact that so many of us do not seem to appreciate what we have, as evidenced by the lack of interest.
