Ohio gas prices are lower due to better supply.

Aug. 1--DAYTON -- Though on the rise Tuesday, regular gasoline prices in Dayton were among the lowest in the nation, according to online gas price tracking Web sites.

GasPriceWatch.com on Tuesday reported a Kroger service station along Needmore Road in Dayton as selling gas at $2.33 per gallon, and DaytonGasPrices.com listed gas for sale for $2.41 per gallon at the Mini Mart on Selma Road.

The highest gas price per gallon on Tuesday was $4.16 at Beaver Island, Mich., according to GasPriceWatch.com. By late afternoon, DaytonGasPrices.com had a BP station along Troy Pike and Interstate 70 as having the area's highest price per gallon -- ...
