Aug. 1--EPHRATA CAFE'S MENU MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE: Have lunch at the Cafe at Ten Thousand Villages, Ephrata, and you'll be making a world of difference.

The cafe, which opened July 12, serves soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps, along with fair-trade coffee and teas.

"'Fair trade' means the coffee growers, the harvesters are paid a fair wage for their product," cafe manager Rita D'Isidoro says. "It's something that's very important to our business. We are trying to find more fair-trade products for our menu."
