ATLANTA, March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Officials of the Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) and The Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG) today announced an agreement designating Zong Ao Physical Development Co. (ZAPD), Beijing, as agent for trademark licensing programs in China for trademarks and symbols owned by The Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. This is the first agreement of its type ever reached between the U.S. and China.
Under this agreement, Chinese manufacturers who wish to use the trademarks, symbols and designations owned by ACOG will apply for a license through ZAPD. In return for the rights to use the Atlanta marks on merchandise, they will ...
