This week, the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform published the end of year outputs for the regional development agencies for 2006-2007.
I am delighted to say that, once again, Advantage West Midlands hit every core target agreed in the region and set for us by our paymasters at Whitehall.
As a result of the work of Advantage West Midlands and our economic regeneration partners, 13,837 new jobs now exist in our region - that's 13,837 individuals in our region who have been given the chance to make the most of their lives.
