Aug. 2--For a divorced mom with a full-time job and 11-year-old twin daughters, the only way Karen Ledder has time to get her college degree is doing it online.
Ledder, 39, will be one of the first students enrolled in DeSales University's new online bachelor's degree programs.
Starting Aug. 22, adult education students at DeSales will be able to take all of their classes online to earn two degrees -- a bachelor of arts in management and the bachelor of science in marketing -- without ever setting foot on DeSales' Center Valley campus.
