Aug. 3--One of the oldest knocks you'll hear against downtown Dallas is the high price of parking.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
A new study of international parking costs show that Big D's downtown has some of the best parking prices on the globe.
Indeed, you'll have to go to places such as Boise, Idaho, or Reno, Nev., to find a cheaper place to park your car.
Colliers International just released its annual study of parking costs. Researchers found that the median monthly cost of unreserved parking in downtown Dallas is $85.
That's compared to a nationwide median of more than $152.
