WORCESTER - After getting shelled in his last start, Junior Guerrero couldn't wait for his next one.
Guerrero twirled a gem on three days' rest last night, taking a perfect game into the seventh inning and settling for a three-hitter as Worcester throttled visiting Nashua, 10-2, at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field.
"It was my fastball and my slider working tonight," Guerrero said. "My fastball was working away and my slider was great tonight, so it really helped having those two good pitches."
Guerrero gave up three hits and one run and struck out eight over eight innings. He threw 105 pitches, 68 for strikes. ...
