After bottoming in April, the global electronics "food chain" appears to be headed to a mild second half 2007 recovery. In the U.S., ISM's June "Purchasing Managers' Index" continued to grow from its March low (Chart 1) and U.S. electronic equipment orders and shipments (Chart 2) have been on the rise since early spring.

Globally, Taiwan/China clearly leads the world in electronic equipment growth (Chart 3).
