Aug. 3--Fraternity brothers and friends of the late Thomas Hayes Brown, who was 39 when he died in March 2005 in Bar Harbor invite you to join them and take part in a golf tournament in Brown's honor and memory, the Thomas H. Brown Memorial Scholarship Tourney.
According to information provided by my colleague Todd McLeod, Brown had many passions in life but was particularly passionate about golf and his college fraternity, Eta Chapter of Kappa Delta Phi at the University of Maine in Machias, of which Todd is an alumni member.
Brown worked in the media and at local golf courses, and he coached golf at Mount Desert Island ...
