PITTSBURGH, March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Mellon Bank Corporation (NYSE: MEL) today announced that Robert M. Parkinson and John T. Chesko have been named executive vice presidents and members of Mellon's senior management committee.
Parkinson, who is head of Mellon's credit review department, is responsible for managing and providing strategic direction for the Corporation's credit review activities. Effective May 1, Parkinson also will assume the responsibilities of corporate chief auditor, replacing Donald J. O'Reilly, who will retire on July 31.
