BRIEF: Suffolk police looking for witnesses to U.S. 58 crash that killed six.

Aug. 4--SUFFOLK

Police are looking for anybody who might have witnessed the final movements of the car involved in a crash last month that killed six people on U.S. 58. The car was traveling eastbound about 4 p.m. July 24 near the Pitchkettle Road exit when it ran off the road to the left slightly and then over-corrected, crossed a grassy median and collided with a truck headed west.

Police describe the car as a red or burgundy 2-door 1994 Honda Accord with several passengers. The driver, Perthrina Gopaul, 24, who family members said lived in Queens, N.Y., registered the car in North Carolina hours before the crash.
