Aug. 5--A picture can be worth a thousand words, but on a painting displayed at the Sarpy County Fair Saturday, only one word mattered.
A woman visiting the Sarpy County Fair Saturday night didn't appreciate an obscenity contained in a painting of Jesus. Fair organizers agreed and took it down.
From about five or six feet away, the objectionable piece was beautiful, said fair president Rich Jansen, but there was a tiny message at the bottom containing the obscenity.
