David Bain Jr.

David Austin Bain Jr., 73, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, in Conroe, Texas, after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Bain was born July 27, 1934, in Chattanooga to Mr. David Austin Bain Sr. and Mrs.

Prudie Lee Bain.

Mr. Bain served in the U.S. Air Force as a military policeman during the Korean War, when he was stationed in Paris, France. He then graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was employed with General Electric in Roanoke, Va., and then worked for many years for Powell Electrical Manufacturing Co. in Houston, ...
