The Aeneid
The national epic of Italy, the Aeneid tells the story of Aeneas, a warrior from Troy and son of the goddess Venus. With a small band of followers, Aeneas escaped from Troy as it was being sacked by the Greeks at the end of the Trojan War. But, Aeneas' search for a new homeland was not an easy one. Furious that destiny decreed the Romans would destroy her favorite ...
