Aug. 6--The head of a development company that wants to build a 63-acre shopping complex in Tilden Township said the township will risk losing the project if it imposes a traffic-impact fee for road improvements.
Ironwood Property Group Inc. of Montgomery County has proposed the center north of Cabela's off Mountain and Lowland roads.
At a township meeting Saturday, Ironwood President Jeremy B. Fogel said the company had not budgeted for the fees.
"Our project already is doing its fair share for the community," he said. "If you apply it (the fee) to us it wouldn't sit very well."
Ironwood plans to spend $3.8 million on site ...
