GOLDEN, Colo., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- When the Denver Metropolitan Major League Baseball Stadium District, The Colorado Rockies and Coors Brewing Co. open Coors Field for the first time March 31, it will be the long-awaited realization of a dream.

Denver baseball fans and Coors Brewing Co. stepped up to the plate in 1990 with a commitment and the necessary financial support to build a home for Major League Baseball in Colorado. Now Coors, together with Colorado baseball fans, will celebrate the grand opening of Coors Field with exhibition games March 31 and April 1, and the official opening day game April 7.
