ITEM: Clarence Page, in his syndicated column in the Dallas Morning News on July 2, praises Michael Moore's movie Sicko, which indicts healthcare in the United States and promotes universal healthcare systems found in other countries--blaming the insurance industry, for killing past reforms. "It's hard for the public to make an intelligent choice when only one side's view gets the megaphone. Mr. Moore evens things up a bit.... Mr. Moore offers a glimpse of something most Americans never see: how easily anyone--including visitors--can access good public health care in Canada and Europe, and how satisfied those countries' citizens are with their systems."
