Although thallium (T1) is toxic to both humans and animals, there is little information on contamination in wildlife. In this study, T1 contents in wild ducks in Japan were determined. Contents of T1 in kidney and liver ranged from 0.42 to 119.61 [micro]g/g and 0.10 to 33.94 [micro]g/g dry weight, respectively.
