Poland's H1 bus sales up 31% y/y to record high 679 units, production up 22% y/y on exports
WARSAW. AUGUST 10. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Poland's bus market enjoyed the highest ever sales in the first half of the year at 679 units, up 30.6% year-on-year (y/y), while production jumped 22.1% on an annual basis, or by 300 units to 1,659 on rising exports, market research firm Samar said in a report Friday.
"After the first six-month period of the year, the Polish market reported record high sales of 679 buses," the report reads. "It is worth adding that last year was very good for the Polish bus market with the highest sales since 2001."
