WASHINGTON--The Health Insurance Association of America has unvelled a new health reform package that it says is supported overwhelmingly by the public.
HIAA President Bill Gradison told a Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee hearing this month that Washington-based HIAA, "strongly supports Congressional action in 1995 to improve the health care system, particularly the medical insurance system.
"The time is ripe for reform," Mr. Gradison testified at the first hearing on health care reform by a Senate committee in the new Congress.
