Aug. 10--Boat envy is a common affliction during the long, hot Mid-Columbia summer.
But residents no longer have to suffer as they look across the river and see boat owners whisking across the cool water, or putting their fishing lines in the river.
Boat Club is a new local business that offers the ability to get out on the water without the expense of buying a boat.
"It's really about convenience," said Vanessa Moore, co-owner.
Moore and her husband, Leonard, began toying with the idea of creating the membership-based club last year.
