WINCHENDON - Looking to garner support for his 2008 bid for the U.S. Senate, hopeful Jeffrey K. Beatty was in town last night to share his hopes with Republican voters.
Mr. Beatty was the guest speaker at the Republican Town Committee's meeting at the Winchendon School.
Of his run for the Senate seat, Mr. Beatty described what he calls the equivalent of the "perfect storm."
"It's got all three components. We have an unpopular incumbent, a very qualified candidate and a Republican party ready for a win," he said.
