Hungarian state railways MAV shortlists seven bids in privatization of freight division MAV Cargo
BUDAPEST. AUGUST 13. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Hungarian state railways MAV has shortlisted seven of the 12 original bidders for the second round of the privatization of MAV's 100%-owned rail freight division MAV Cargo, MAV announced in a statement over the weekend.
"Considering the high professional quality of the indicative bids, as well as the tight differences between bidders' scores, MAV's board of directors made a decision to allow seven bidders through to the second round of the tender [instead of the originally planned five]," MAV said.
