Aug. 11--POST PROFIT OFF 71.4 PERCENT: Post Publishing Plc, the publisher of the Bangkok Post and Post Today daily newspapers, reported consolidated second-quarter profits of 8.733 million baht (0.02 baht per share), down 71.4 percent from 30.588 million (0.06 baht per share) in the same period last year.

First-half net profits declined by 58.7 percent year-on-year to 20.922 million baht (0.04 baht per share) from 50.78 million (0.1 baht per share).
