Aug. 13--I'm preparing to bid my beloved iMac adieu.
It's a sentimental moment. Macintosh users are infamously schmaltzy about their machines, unlike most people who regard their computers as, simply, tools. My iMac has been a reliable sidekick for the past half-decade or so, and I've made sure to keep its shiny Apple icon nicely polished.
