TOKYO - "It will be the exhibition no one has ever seen," said artist Takashi Murakami about his new exhibition, "(c) Murakami," that will start in October at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles before traveling to New York, Frankfurt and Spain.
The exhibition will be made up of 95 works, including paintings, sculptures and video works. Main items will include new pieces such as a sculpture that was seven years in the planning and took another four-and-a-half years to realize, and a 10-minute animated short. The exhibition will not be shown in Japan.
