DENVER - Recently demoted reliever Will Ohman may have burned his last bridge back to Chicago in the wake of comments he made Friday morning on WSCR 670-AM.
The feeling at all levels of Cubdom, including Ohman's former teammates, appeared to be that Ohman threw the Cubs' medical and training staffs under the bus. He told morning host Mike North that he kept news of his self-proclaimed "barking" left shoulder "with the doctors" and that manager Lou Piniella didn't need to be briefed because "I never said I was not available" to pitch.
