Aug. 15--The Owensboro Catholic High School girls' soccer team took its lumps as a young squad last year.
This season -- and another year older -- the Lady Aces look ready to dish out a few of their own.
Catholic's aggressive midfield and defensive back line bought more than enough time for Jessica Ralph and Monica Young to punch in scores for a 2-0 victory Tuesday night over the E-Gals at Apollo.
"They're more aggressive than in the past," Catholic coach Melissa Goetz said of her squad. "We're usually the team that gets pushed to the ground."
