James Hardy stands tall and fit and seemingly ready to catch every pass thrown his way on the artificial turf of Memorial Stadium. It is illusion. The former Elmhurst High School standout has a broken finger, but which finger and which hand is hidden by a pair of receiving gloves and Hardy's discretion.
