NEW YORK - Leading slip-cover supplier Sure Fit, which was purchased by domestics mill Fieldcrest Cannon this year, is dropping its existing brand names in favor of its new parent's brands.
Sure Fit's Decor Express and Homescapes product lines, primarily mass-market labels, will be converted to the Cannon and Cannon Royal Family brands. The Coverworks line, Sure Fit's moniker for department and specialty stores, will become the Fieldcrest brand.
Sure Fit is developing a special, upscale line of furniture covers under the Waverly brand, which is licensed by Fieldcrest. The collection will be unveiled at next week's Home Textiles Market.
