Aug. 16--Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand) Plc plans to invest $35.5 million this year and next to cope with growing demand for electronic equipment.
Of the total investment budget, $29.9 million will be spent on expanding the plant of Cal-Comp Optical Electronics (Suzhou) Co Ltd, its wholly owned subsidiary in China, to meet the high business growth there, said Naririn Tantisajjatham, deputy director for Cal-Comp.
The SET-listed electronics manufacturing service provider will use the retained earnings of its Chinese subsidiary to fund the project, expected to be completed late next year.
