TROY, Mich., April 4, 1995 /PRNewswire/ -- Kmart Corporation (NYSE: KM) and Borders Group, Inc. jointly announce that a registration statement was filed today with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the proposed initial public offering of approximately 20.8 million Common Shares of Borders Group. Kmart currently owns 100% of the outstanding Borders Group Common Shares.
