What's your margin, best year ever? Chances are it won't hold a candle to the bull run Latin America Inc. has put in of late.
Judging from the nearly 20% revenue boost and the better than 22% net income average, you'd be lucky to be running a business in the region this past year. It's been more of a cakewalk for some than others, obviously--metals prices stayed high, as have oil and other export commodities--but that's not the whole story.
Looking for the news behind the numbers, LATIN TRADE has again compiled the top 500 companies in Latin America, counting privately held and publicly traded firms, as well as the big state-run operations.
