SEOUL, Aug 17 Asia Pulse - Commodity prices in South Korea climbed for the sixth straight month in July from a month earlier on rising crude oil costs, the central bank said Friday.

According to the Bank of Korea, the price index for raw materials and intermediate goods, an indicator of consumer inflation in the coming months, gained 0.4 per cent to 126.4 in July from the previous month. Compared with a year ago, the index rose 1.9 per cent last month.
